How many file extension do you know or do you usually use?

I, perhaps. could only name a few. The most common are those associated with pictures, videos or documents that I often use such as JPG, GIF, PNG, AVI, MPG, MP3, DOC and TXT. But even for the ordinary internet user, you do encounter a lot more file extensions that you thought you might never need. And sometimes an occasional error or a Windows message saying that this file or that needs another software program for it to open. Well, how do you deal with such unfamiliar file extensions?

It's a good thing that File Extension Libraries exist to help us those unfamiliar with the different types available for the common user. With over a thousand or more file extension in their database http://file-extension-library.com is a good resource for all those looking for quick solutions and definitions of common and uncommon file extensions. Each file extension comes equipped with easy to understand definition/desciption with some troubleshooting tips for common errors. For example, the file extension torrent is being described as the extension easily identified with BitTorrent files which is usually used to download files through the internet. Then they also include simple explanations of why such files sometimes can NOT be opened in Windows and some tips to help you overcome such problems. Worth a bookmark, don't you think so?

This is probably the third time I've gotten irritated with Windows Live and all it's branches.. I created an account a few days ago and when I tried to login, they said that my password didn't match the email I typed. I couldn't reset it though because I couldn't answer the security question. I was sure that wasn't the security question I chose before. And since my Windows Live id was the same as my primary email used on that account I therefore cannot get into my Hotmail account to get the instructions on how to reset the password.

So, I created another account just this morning. I was able to get into the Windows Live and MSN messenger. But after eating some breakfast, I tried logging on again. And guess what? They (AGAIN!) said that my email and password does not match. I can distinctly remember that the password I used is correct and there's no doubt it is the right one. So why in the world is Windows Live this crappy???

Not just that, but everytime you edit something on your profile page (as I did when I was still logged on earlier) it usually takes you two times to be able to save your changes because they always say that the password isn't correct. But when you enter the same password the SECOND time, it accepts the password this time and make the necessary changes.

Something is very WRONG with Windows Live. And it's hardly funny.

I just met a friend online and he showed me his latest purchases of perfumes. And my golly! He had a whole desk full of perfumes! His latest was one of David Beckham's line of fragrances - something I actually really like even if I'm a girl. But then I told him, since he's an expert on different kinds of fragrances, does he have a perfume blog? I would have liked to be a follower on that site.

Personally, I only keep a few perfumes at a time. I usually like the flowery scents and I don't like the heavy ones. Why? 'Cause I get migraines on some of the fragrances. How unfortunate, right? Oh, well, it can't be helped... But so far, the migraines never prevented me to keep me some of those that I like. Like Davidoff's Coolwater and a few of Bath & Body Works' fragrances. Those work great for me.

I just saw Adam Lambert's latest performance on Youtube. I don't like the Elvis hairstyle and his makeup does look thick and wax-like but you just have to admire the guy.. er.. girl.. er.. whatever. He's a real artist. His performances are interesting. Looks like he's safe tonight. But will he still keep it up on the weeks to come?

My bet for the top three (in no particular order):

1. Adam Lambert
2. Matt Giraud
3. Kris Allen

I'm using dNeero again. It's something I missed and now (at last) I'm back.

Lots of things have changed at dNeero and one of them is using the Twitter application as a mode to ignite conversations that matches dNeero perfectly. To start off, I answered some questions in dNeero then now I'm posting the survey I took. Look at the Q&A right here:

It's funny how posting one-liners in Twitter became more interesting and fun compared to writing long posts on blogs. However, when you do want to recall what you've posted, the long posts do become more memorable and significant, doesn't it?

Very much so.. I've been called "ADIK" by my brother so many times I couldn't recall how much anymore. Unfortunately, each day also brings something new so I never grow tired. It just scares me sometimes if there aren't any cool apps to download, though. Wish I knew how to create one.. it would be extremely awesome to earn from such apps..

I've just signed in to Twitter but already had an account a long time ago. I'm thinking I'll have a go at trying to find out what's good at Twitter. I also have an account at Plurk. I wonder which one I'll be using more? So far, Plurk bores me.. might be because I didn't add any friends yet or follow anybody in particular.. just watch (and read) random posts from the "interesting people" category.

Also, I have just installed the TwitterFon application on my ipod touch.. Although when I tried to log in, they said that the authentication process failed because the screen name and the password combination was wrong. I wonder why they say that because as of this particular moment I am logged in at Twitter (web version). This boggles me.

"How many should you really become a member of?"

That's my question just this afternoon while I browse around the net looking for "new" things to do. Social networking isn't exactly a new trend. It's been there for quite a while but I've never really explored what the rest of the world had to offer. I was pretty much content with Friendster for the earliest years of my S-N curiosity and then the excitement gradually lessened when Friendster didn't offer that much "new things" anymore and when random almost-naked people keep pestering you with naked profile pictures, messages and whatever.

Friendster had so many bugs and errors that I just had to give up on it... I don't go that much to that site but I can't exactly delete the account since my real network of past and present friends and relatives are there.

Facebook is just my recent activity. Never really thought that much with the user interface which is relatively boring and dull and yet I can't seem to get a grasp about what others found fun and amazing about it. Gifts? Superpoke? Whatthe...? Anyway, the best thing for me about Facebook is that you do get to find out what your friends are up to day to day..

What else is there? Maybe I should sign up on other sites for the fun of it..

Any suggestions?

I've just installed Google Chrome on my laptop less than a week ago and I haven't stopped using it since. I'm just too happy of having just a single box to serve as my search box and where I can type the URLs of the websites I visit that I'm not at all compelled into going back to Internet Explorer anytime soon. Beats the heck out of typing Google.com repeatedly, right?

Also, I like that it doesn't crash often. I've had enough of that from my experience with IE.
